Connecting Jobber lets a completed job or an approved quote mail the neighbors around that address by itself, sends every postcard lead back into Jobber, and books revenue the moment a customer says yes. You sign in with your Jobber account — Mailr never sees your password.

What you get

  • Triggers, grouped the way the automation editor groups them:
    • A job-based eventJob completed (closed) (the default) and New job created.
    • A sales event (quote/invoice)Quote approved (“fires when the customer says yes”) and Invoice paid.
    • A client-based eventNew client added (“fires when a client (not a lead) is added — leads, including ones Mailr creates, are skipped”).
  • Revenue tracking — revenue books when a quote is approved: “Revenue books when a quote is approved — when it’s sold, not when the job wraps.” The amount is the quote total.
  • Lead delivery — landing-page leads arrive in Jobber as lead clients (marked as leads, not clients), matched by email so an existing client is reused. The address goes on a property, and any extra form answers go into a note.

Connect Jobber

1

In Mailr, open Automations

Go to Campaigns → Automations and find Jobber under CRM Connection. Opening the tile doesn’t connect anything. Only the organization owner can connect a CRM.
2

Press Connect Jobber and approve the pop-up

A confirm dialog titled Link Jobber Account appears: “We’ll connect you to Jobber. A pop-up will open, please make sure your browser doesn’t block pop-ups.” Its footer reads “Secured with OAuth 2.0 — you’ll sign in on getjobber.com.” Press Connect.
3

Sign in to Jobber and authorize

Sign in and approve the access request. The window closes itself and Mailr’s setup wizard opens.
4

Finish setup in Mailr

The three-step wizard runs Leads, Job address, Tracking. Confirm where each landing-page field lands and pick your attribution window.
The tile now reads Connected, and the success screen confirms what’s live: “Leads flow into Jobber the moment someone submits your landing page / New Jobber clients at mailed homes count toward your campaigns / Approved quotes book revenue against the campaign that earned them.”

How syncing works

Job, quote and client events reach Mailr instantly, with an hourly sweep as a backup so nothing is missed. Automated campaigns use a design you’ve already approved and are reviewed by Mailr before anything mails — see Campaign statuses & timelines.
The first sync starts from the moment you connect. Jobs and quotes closed before you connected never trigger a campaign. To test, close a fresh job after connecting.

Disconnect or reconnect

Use Review setup on the connected panel to reopen the wizard at any time — your existing choices are kept. Disconnecting shows a confirmation titled Disconnect Jobber?:
“Lead sync and campaign triggers through this connection will stop, and the stored credentials are deleted. Your settings are kept, so reconnecting later picks up where you left off.”
Mailr disconnects the app inside Jobber first, so it stops showing under Connected Apps, then deletes the stored credentials. Campaign history, leads and results are never deleted, and reconnecting picks up your field mappings and attribution window.

Notes & limits

  • A “New client added” trigger never fires on Mailr’s own leads. Mailr creates them as lead clients, and that trigger skips leads by design.
  • Addresses come from Jobber. A job or quote uses its own property address; a client uses their first property, falling back to the billing address.
  • Invoice paid can take up to an hour rather than firing instantly. Everything else fires immediately.
