What you get
- Triggers — Opportunity marked Won, Opportunity reaches a pipeline stage (both the pipeline and the stage are required), New opportunity created, New contact created, and Contact gets a tag (you name the tag).
- Revenue tracking — revenue books when an opportunity is marked Won, using the opportunity value.
- Lead delivery — landing-page leads arrive as contacts with the source “Mailr” and the tag
mailr, plus any extra tag you set in the wizard. Extra form answers map to contact custom fields, and anything left over goes into a contact note.
Connect HighLevel
1
In Mailr, open Automations
Go to Campaigns → Automations and find HighLevel under CRM Connection. Opening the tile doesn’t connect anything. Only the organization owner can connect a CRM.
2
Press Connect HighLevel and approve the pop-up
A confirm dialog titled Link HighLevel Account appears: “We’ll connect you to HighLevel. A pop-up will open, please make sure your browser doesn’t block pop-ups.” Its footer reads “Secured with OAuth 2.0 — you’ll sign in on gohighlevel.com.” Press Connect.
3
Sign in and pick your sub-account
Sign in to HighLevel, pick the sub-account (Location) you want connected, and approve the requested access. The window closes itself and Mailr’s setup wizard opens.
4
Finish setup in Mailr
The three-step wizard runs Leads, Job address, Tracking. Confirm your field mapping, nominate an address field if you use one, and pick your attribution window.
The tile now reads Connected.
How syncing works
Mailr syncs contacts, opportunities, pipelines and stages, contact and opportunity custom fields, and tags. Events reach Mailr instantly, with an hourly sweep as a backup. Automated campaigns use a design you’ve already approved and are reviewed by Mailr before anything mails — see Campaign statuses & timelines. The first sync starts from the moment you connect. Opportunities won before you connected never trigger a campaign. To test, mark a fresh opportunity Won after connecting.
Disconnect or reconnect
Disconnecting shows a confirmation titled Disconnect HighLevel?:“Lead sync and campaign triggers through this connection will stop, and the stored credentials are deleted. Your settings are kept, so reconnecting later picks up where you left off.”Campaign history, leads and results are never deleted. Reconnecting keeps your field mappings, address settings and attribution window.
Notes & limits
- Opportunities carry no address. Mailr mails around the related contact’s address, or a custom field you nominate in the wizard’s Job address step. An opportunity whose contact has no address is skipped.
- A lead with no email address can’t be delivered — email is how HighLevel contacts are matched.
- Tag triggers are approximate on the hourly backup, because HighLevel doesn’t record when a tag was added. The instant path is exact.
- When you import past records to mail again, HighLevel offers won or open opportunities only.
