> ## Agent Instructions
> Mailr is a direct-mail marketing platform for US home-services contractors. Each postcard is personalized with an AI-enhanced image of the recipient's own home and a unique QR code that leads to a personalized landing page. Campaigns can target a neighborhood the customer draws on a map, the homes around past jobs they upload or import, or fire automatically from their CRM. Mailr does not mail an uploaded recipient list. When answering questions, prefer the exact steps and UI labels from these docs, and direct users to app.getmailr.com to sign in. For anything involving account-specific data, billing disputes, or mail that appears lost, direct the user to support@getmailr.com.

# Tracking dashboard

> Read your Mailr Tracking dashboard: cards sent, QR scans, scan rate, leads, deals, revenue and ROAS, plus the scan map and per-campaign breakdowns.

**Tracking** is where every postcard you mail turns into numbers you can act on: who scanned, who became a lead, and which jobs came back. Open it from the **Workspace** group in the left sidebar — the page header reads **Tracking**, *"Full-funnel campaign performance and attribution analytics"*.

## The filter bar

Everything on every tab respects the filters at the top of the page.

* **Campaign** — a multi-select. The button reads **All campaigns** until you pick some, then **N campaigns**.
* **Campaign type** — **All types**, or one of **Neighborhood**, **Reactivation**, **List campaign**, **Install neighbors**, **By area**, **Targeted list**. These filter labels cover the documented [campaign types](/campaigns/overview): map draws, reactivation mailings, list campaigns, and automation-created campaigns.
* **Date range** — one combined button, reading **All time** until you narrow it. It opens a picker with quick presets (Today, Yesterday, This week, Last week, This month, Last 30 days, This year, Last year, All time) beside a two-month calendar for choosing an exact range.
* **Clear** appears as soon as any filter is set, and resets all of them.

## The attribution selector

On the right of the filter bar you choose how Mailr should credit results:

* **Combined attribution** (the default) — everything Mailr can tie back to your mail.
* **Direct (landing-page form)** — only people who scanned a card and filled in the form.
* **Indirect (address match)** — only won deals in your CRM whose address matches a household you mailed.

This selector changes **Leads**, **Deals won**, **Revenue**, **ROAS** and every cost-per figure. It never changes scan numbers — a scan is a scan under any model. For the full explanation, see [how attribution works](/results/attribution).

## The tabs

**Overview** is the summary. **Campaigns** compares campaigns side by side. **Scans** is everything about QR activity. **Calls** appears only once you have call tracking connected with at least one active number — see [call tracking](/integrations/callrail).

## What each tile means

<Warning>
  **Amount spent** is an **estimate**, calculated at a standard per-card rate — it is not your exact billed spend. Anything derived from it (**ROAS**, **Cost per scan**, **Cost per lead**, **Cost per deal**) is an estimate too. For what you were actually charged, open **Billing → Transaction History**. See [credits and pricing](/billing/credits-and-pricing).
</Warning>

| Tile              | What it means                                                                                                                                                                    |
| ----------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Cards sent** | Postcards from the filtered campaigns that have been marked mailed. |
| **Amount spent** | Estimated cost of those cards at a standard per-card rate. Not your invoice. |
| **QR scans** | Total scans recorded across those cards. The sub-line shows unique households and your scan rate. |
| **ROAS** | Return on ad spend: attributed revenue divided by estimated amount spent, shown like "3.2x". Turns green at 1.0x or better, and reads "—" until there is both spend and revenue. |
| **Leads** | People who came from your mail under the selected attribution model. Sub-line shows cost per lead. |
| **Deals won** | Won deals in your connected CRM that Mailr matched back to a household you mailed. Sub-line shows cost per deal. |
| **Revenue** | Total value of those won deals. |
| **Cost per scan** | Estimated amount spent divided by total scans. |

Two definitions worth knowing by heart. **Scan rate is the share of mailed cards that were scanned at least once** — unique cards scanned divided by cards mailed. A household that scans five times counts once toward unique scans and five times toward **QR scans**. And **cost per scan, cost per lead and cost per deal are all estimated amount spent divided by that metric**, so they inherit the estimate caveat above.

<Note>
  There is **no "response rate"** metric in Mailr. Scan rate is the measure of how many households engaged with a card.
</Note>

Click any tile with a value in it to drill into the records behind it — the **QR scans** tile jumps to the **Scans** tab, and the conversion tiles open a list of the leads, deals or revenue that make up the number. Tiles showing zero aren't clickable.

Below the tiles, three cards compare **Combined**, **Direct** (*"Via landing-page form"*) and **Indirect** (*"Via address match"*), each with its leads, deals and revenue and its share of Combined. The **All leads** panel lists every lead regardless of the attribution selector, so its count can differ from the **Leads** tile.

Two charts follow — **Scans over time** and **Leads over time** — as daily bars, once there are at least two days of data. Before anything has mailed you'll see *"No tracking data yet. Data will appear here once campaigns have been mailed."*

## Campaigns tab

One sortable table — click any column header to sort — with **Campaign · Sent · Scans · Scan rate · Leads · Cost/Lead · Deals · Revenue · ROAS** and a bold total row. Each row carries the campaign's [status](/campaigns/statuses-and-timelines) and type.

Clicking the campaign name opens the campaign. Clicking a **number** instead expands an inline breakdown in place: **Scans** lists the individual scanned addresses with their scan counts and last scan; **Leads**, **Deals** and **Revenue** list the underlying records.

## Scans tab

Tiles here cover **Total scans**, **Unique scanned**, **Scan rate** and **Device split** (for example "78% mobile"), followed by:

* **Scan map** — a satellite map of the addresses that scanned. Dots grow and darken with scan count and cluster as you zoom out. Click one for the address, town, dwelling type, scan count, first scan date and a link to its campaign.
* **Scans over time** — daily bars.
* **Scans by hour of day** — 24 bars showing when homeowners actually scan. Useful for deciding when to staff the phones.
* **Scans by campaign** — expand a campaign to see its scanned addresses, each with **First scan**, **Last scan** and **Dwelling type**.

Before your first scan: *"No QR code scans yet. Scans will appear here once recipients start scanning postcards."*

## Calls tab

With call tracking connected, this tab adds **Calls**, **Answered** (with missed calls beneath it), **First-time callers** and **Call leads** (*"Matched to a mailer recipient"*). Click any tile to list the calls behind it.

Two cards split your calls into **Attributed** — *"Tied to a campaign or recipient"* — and **Not yet matched to a campaign**. Unmatched calls aren't lost: *"These calls match to a campaign automatically once the caller's number appears as a contact in your connected CRM."* A **Calls over time** chart and a **Calls by campaign** table round out the tab.

## What needs a connected CRM

Scans, scan rate and landing-page form leads work on their own. **Deals won**, **Revenue** and **ROAS** stay at zero until you connect a CRM, because those numbers come from deals marked won in your system. Connect one from [Integrations](/integrations/overview), or use [Zapier](/integrations/zapier) if your CRM isn't natively supported.
