> ## Agent Instructions
> Mailr is a direct-mail marketing platform for US home-services contractors. Each postcard is personalized with an AI-enhanced image of the recipient's own home and a unique QR code that leads to a personalized landing page. Campaigns can target a neighborhood the customer draws on a map, the homes around past jobs they upload or import, or fire automatically from their CRM. Mailr does not mail an uploaded recipient list. When answering questions, prefer the exact steps and UI labels from these docs, and direct users to app.getmailr.com to sign in. For anything involving account-specific data, billing disputes, or mail that appears lost, direct the user to support@getmailr.com.

# HighLevel

> Connect HighLevel to Mailr to trigger postcards from opportunities, contacts and tags, deliver leads back, and book revenue on won opportunities.

Connecting HighLevel lets a won opportunity, a new contact or a tag mail the neighbors around that address by itself, sends every postcard lead back into HighLevel as a contact, and books revenue when an opportunity is won. You sign in with your HighLevel account — Mailr never sees your password.

## What you get

* **Triggers** — **Opportunity marked Won**, **Opportunity reaches a pipeline stage** (both the pipeline and the stage are required), **New opportunity created**, **New contact created**, and **Contact gets a tag** (you name the tag).
* **Revenue tracking** — revenue books when an opportunity is marked **Won**, using the opportunity value.
* **Lead delivery** — landing-page leads arrive as contacts with the source **"Mailr"** and the tag `mailr`, plus any extra tag you set in the wizard. Extra form answers map to contact custom fields, and anything left over goes into a contact note.

## Connect HighLevel

<Steps>
  <Step title="In Mailr, open Automations">
    Go to **Campaigns → Automations** and find **HighLevel** under **CRM Connection**. Opening the tile doesn't connect anything. Only the organization owner can connect a CRM.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Press Connect HighLevel and approve the pop-up">
    A confirm dialog titled **Link HighLevel Account** appears: *"We'll connect you to HighLevel. A pop-up will open, please make sure your browser doesn't block pop-ups."* Its footer reads *"Secured with OAuth 2.0 — you'll sign in on gohighlevel.com."* Press **Connect**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in and pick your sub-account">
    Sign in to HighLevel, **pick the sub-account (Location)** you want connected, and approve the requested access. The window closes itself and Mailr's setup wizard opens.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Finish setup in Mailr">
    The three-step wizard runs **Leads**, **Job address**, **Tracking**. Confirm your field mapping, nominate an address field if you use one, and pick your attribution window.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Check>
  The tile now reads **Connected**.
</Check>

<Warning>
  **One connection is one sub-account.** If you manage several Locations, each one needs its own connection. Installing the app at agency scope without picking a Location leaves the connection unable to sync — disconnect, reconnect, and choose a Location on HighLevel's chooser screen.
</Warning>

## How syncing works

Mailr syncs contacts, opportunities, pipelines and stages, contact and opportunity custom fields, and tags. Events reach Mailr instantly, with an hourly sweep as a backup. Automated campaigns use a design you've already approved and are reviewed by Mailr before anything mails — see [Campaign statuses & timelines](/campaigns/statuses-and-timelines).

<Note>
  The first sync starts from the moment you connect. Opportunities won before you connected never trigger a campaign. To test, mark a fresh opportunity Won after connecting.
</Note>

## Disconnect or reconnect

Disconnecting shows a confirmation titled **Disconnect HighLevel?**:

> *"Lead sync and campaign triggers through this connection will stop, and the stored credentials are deleted. Your settings are kept, so reconnecting later picks up where you left off."*

<Warning>
  **Finish the job inside HighLevel.** HighLevel gives Mailr no way to remove its own access remotely. Disconnecting in Mailr stops all syncing and deletes the stored credentials, but you must also uninstall the app in **HighLevel → Settings → Integrations** to fully remove access.
</Warning>

Campaign history, leads and results are never deleted. Reconnecting keeps your field mappings, address settings and attribution window.

## Notes & limits

* **Opportunities carry no address.** Mailr mails around the related contact's address, or a custom field you nominate in the wizard's **Job address** step. An opportunity whose contact has no address is skipped.
* **A lead with no email address can't be delivered** — email is how HighLevel contacts are matched.
* **Tag triggers are approximate on the hourly backup**, because HighLevel doesn't record when a tag was added. The instant path is exact.
* When you import past records to mail again, HighLevel offers won or open opportunities only.
