> ## Agent Instructions
> Mailr is a direct-mail marketing platform for US home-services contractors. Each postcard is personalized with an AI-enhanced image of the recipient's own home and a unique QR code that leads to a personalized landing page. Campaigns can target a neighborhood the customer draws on a map, the homes around past jobs they upload or import, or fire automatically from their CRM. Mailr does not mail an uploaded recipient list. When answering questions, prefer the exact steps and UI labels from these docs, and direct users to app.getmailr.com to sign in. For anything involving account-specific data, billing disputes, or mail that appears lost, direct the user to support@getmailr.com.

# Send your first campaign

> A seven-step path from creating your Mailr workspace to watching scans and leads arrive from your first mailed postcards.

This is the shortest path from a brand-new account to postcards in mailboxes. Each step links to a
fuller page if you want the detail — work straight through and you'll have a campaign in flight.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create your workspace" icon="building-2">
    Sign up at [the Mailr app](https://app.getmailr.com), then fill in the **"Set up your
    workspace"** form: your **"Company name"** and **"Website"** are required, phone and CRM are
    optional. Press **"Create workspace"** and you land on your dashboard.

    While you carry on, Mailr reads your website in the background to build your brand kit, collects
    showcase photos, looks for your Google reviews, and publishes starter landing pages for you. That
    takes a few minutes, so pages will fill in on their own.

    Full walkthrough: [Set up your workspace](/getting-started/set-up-your-workspace).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review your Brand kit" icon="palette">
    Go to **Designs → Brand kit**. This is your logo library, colors, company details, industries,
    and showcase photos — everything Mailr designs from. Check that the colors and logo Mailr pulled
    from your site are really yours, fix anything that's off, and press **"Save changes"**.

    If the banner says **"We couldn't read your website — build your brand kit below."**, add your
    details by hand or upload a brand guidelines PDF. Five minutes here saves you re-doing designs
    later.

    Details: [Brand kit](/designs/brand-kit).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve a design" icon="image">
    A design is your postcard — front and back — built from your brand kit and personalized per
    recipient. Create one in the design studio, review both sides, and approve it. Nothing can mail
    until a design is approved, so this step is required before your first campaign.

    Details: [Postcard designs](/designs/overview).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check your landing page" icon="layout">
    Every postcard carries a unique QR code that opens a landing page personalized to that
    recipient's address. Mailr publishes starter pages for you when your workspace is created and
    sets one as your default, so you usually have one already. Open it in the landing page studio and read it as a homeowner would
    after scanning your card — if it looks right, you're ready to mail.

    Details: [Landing pages](/results/landing-pages).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add credits" icon="wallet">
    Go to **Workspace → Billing** and top up your credit balance. Credits are prepaid: submitting a
    campaign holds credits, mail settles them, and unused holds are always released back. You see the
    exact cost before anything mails, and nothing ever charges automatically — you can explore the
    whole product before adding a dollar.

    Only the workspace Owner can buy credits. If you're Staff or a Member, ask your Owner to top up.

    Details: [Credits and pricing](/billing/credits-and-pricing).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create a campaign" icon="send">
    Go to **Campaigns → New campaign**. A campaign is one batch of postcards: who gets mailed, which
    design, and which landing page. Choose your audience — a neighborhood you draw on the map, or
    the homes around jobs you've completed — pick your approved design, review the cost, and submit.

    Submitting places a credit hold and sends the campaign to Mailr for review. Once approved,
    Mailr generates a personalized card for every recipient and sends them to print. Your
    do-not-mail list is always skipped.

    Details: [Create a campaign](/campaigns/create-a-campaign) and
    [Targeting](/campaigns/targeting).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Watch your results" icon="chart-line">
    Once cards are out, scans and leads appear in Mailr as they happen. Check your results to see
    which campaigns are producing, and follow up on leads while they're warm. Connect your CRM and
    Mailr can also tie closed deals back to the mailer that started them.

    Details: [Tracking dashboard](/results/dashboard) and [Leads](/results/leads).
  </Step>

<Check>
  Done with all seven? The **"Getting started"** checklist on your dashboard hides itself once every
  step is complete.

<Tip>
  Don't want to do this alone? Mailr's welcome tour walks the same path in the app — replay it any
  time with the **"Tour"** button on your dashboard checklist. See
  [First-run tour and checklist](/getting-started/onboarding-checklist).
